Watch, Read, Eat, Deed

If you’re new here, this is my weekly snippet of things I’m watching, reading, eating and doing. Check back for a new list every Sunday. (Except the past 3-4 Sundays. Those were exceptions.)

Watch: Playing House

Airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m., this is a new must-watch for me. It’s hilarious, and I love the bond between the characters. It makes you want to grab coffee with them.

Read: Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (and other concerns) by Mindy Kaling

Mindy Book

When this book came out a few years ago, it was very popular and promptly made my To Read list. After waiting the appropriate amount of time for it to be acquired by the library and then available, I forgot it existed. Thank goodness for Goodreads. It remained there on my To Read list, and on my last library trip, I saw it on the list and was able to find it on the shelf. It is hilarious. I have actually laughed out loud while reading it which wouldn’t be a big deal except I was sitting alone on a park bench in a crowded area during some of those moments. Don’t mind me. Crazy lady laughing to herself. Move along.

Eat: Mongolian Beef

Thank you, Pinterest, for bringing this recipe gem into my life. It is so delicious, I’ve memorized the sauce measurements already. You can find it on Favorite Family Recipes and thank me later.

Deed: Hanging out

No pictures needed. It’s been a great week with good friends. Softball games, walks in the woods, coffee, chillen with the Food Trucks and live music. Summer is looking good.

Enjoy your week!
