Cook pasta. Leave to cool while you prep the rest of the ingredients and jam out to dance tunes.
Add spicy meat & a rainbow of veggies to the bowl you will serve/store the dish in. (Why dirty more dishes?) Adjust the ingredients based on what you have & what you like. When done, put cooled pasta right on top.
Top pasta with cubed cheese. Feed a little to your sous chef for being such a good helper.
The finishing touch to pasta salad is the dressing. I like Italian. It’s zippy. Since I made this for my lunches throughout the week, I’ll be dressing it as I go to avoid any sogginess. If you’re serving a crowd, dress it in the big bowl, mix & let the flavors mingle before your guests devour it.
